MOUNT KILIIMANJARO TREKKING  MARANGU ROUTE

Day 1

Leave Mombasa for Moshi through the Mombasa- Voi – Taveta Border

Arrive at your hotel for lunch and have a day for acclimatization.

Dinner and over night at a base hotel.

Day 2

Transport from your  hotel to Kilimanjaro National Park gate. Start your trecking through the dense forest to mandara hut. Dinner and overnight at hut  (2750 m),

Day 3

Trek through the opening  grass lands of hearth and Moorlands to reach horombo hut.

Dinner and overnight at the hut  (3700m).

Day 4

Trekking continues as you go through the dry area between Kibo and Maweni peaks .

Your over night will be at Kibo hut.

Dinner and over night at the hut(4700 m) 

Day 5

Early in the morning before the sunrise walk to the steep and stiff journey to reach Gilman’s point  (5681 m) continue Ascending to Uhuru peak , the highest peak is Africa

( 6896 m).

Acertificate  is ssuied  on completion  of climbing.
